Advertising, Sponsor & Affiliate Disclosure

Who we are

EvanHFisher.com ("we," "us," "our") is operated by Evan H. Fisher. We publish the Oversubscribed newsletter, sell digital courses, offer 1-on-1 coaching, and run paid sponsorships and affiliate placements across our website, newsletter, and social media channels (including Meta platforms — Facebook and Instagram).

This page exists so you always know exactly when money is changing hands behind the content you're reading.

The short version

Some of the content on this site, in our newsletter, and in our ads is paid for, sponsored, or contains affiliate links. When you click a link, sign up for a sponsor's product, or buy something through us, we may earn a commission, a flat fee, or other compensation — at no additional cost to you.

We only promote products, tools, services, and people we believe in. Compensation never changes our honest opinion of what we recommend.

Sponsored content

When a brand pays us to feature their product or service, we'll label that content using one or more of the following:

  • "Sponsored by [Brand]"
  • "Brought to you by [Brand]"
  • "Paid partnership with [Brand]"
  • "[Ad]" or "[Sponsored]" tags inside our newsletter
  • "Paid partnership" labels on Meta platforms (Instagram, Facebook), per Meta's Branded Content policies

Sponsored placements do not buy positive coverage. Sponsors do not get final approval over editorial content beyond their own ad copy.

Affiliate links

Some of the links on this site, in our newsletter, and in our content are affiliate links. That means if you click the link and make a purchase, we may receive a commission from the seller — at no extra cost to you.

We participate in affiliate programs that include, but are not limited to: software platforms, course creators, financial products, and business tools relevant to founders and operators. Whenever practical, we'll note affiliate relationships inline with language like "(affiliate link)" or with a clear disclosure at the top of the relevant article or email.

Endorsements & testimonials

Any testimonial, case study, or success story published on this site reflects the experience of that specific person. Results are not typical and are not a guarantee, projection, or promise of what you'll experience. Raising capital, growing revenue, and scaling a business depend on dozens of variables outside our control — including your market, team, execution, timing, and capital structure.

If a person providing a testimonial received compensation, a discount, free access, or any other material benefit in exchange for their review, we'll disclose that next to the testimonial.

Our own products

When we promote our own products — including but not limited to Oversubscribed sponsorships, paid courses on learn.evanhfisher.com, 1-on-1 coaching, and any other Evan H. Fisher–branded offer — those are first-party promotions. We obviously have a financial interest in you buying them. Pricing, delivery, refund terms, and access details for paid products are described on each product's individual sales page and in our Privacy Policy.

Advertising on Meta (Facebook & Instagram) and other ad platforms

We run paid advertising on Meta platforms, Google, LinkedIn, X, and other ad networks. In compliance with Meta's Advertising Standards and the U.S. FTC's Endorsement Guides:

  • All ads identify Evan H. Fisher / EvanHFisher.com as the advertiser
  • We do not make earnings claims, income guarantees, or "get rich quick" promises in any ad
  • Any results, numbers, or outcomes referenced in our ads represent specific cases and are not typical
  • Customer testimonials used in ads reflect that individual's experience and include appropriate disclosures
  • We don't use deceptive landing pages, fake reviews, or before/after framing prohibited by Meta
  • We don't target ads to minors and we don't sell products restricted under Meta's policies

If you believe one of our ads violates Meta's policies or FTC guidance, contact us at the email below and we'll review it.

Editorial independence

We retain full editorial control over all non-sponsored content. Sponsors and affiliate partners do not see or approve editorial coverage in advance. If we publish a critical opinion of a tool or company we also have an affiliate relationship with, we'll disclose that relationship in the same piece.

FTC compliance

This disclosure is provided in good-faith compliance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's "Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising" (16 CFR Part 255) and the FTC's "Disclosures 101 for Social Media Influencers" guidance.

Questions

If anything on this page is unclear, or you've spotted something on our site, in our newsletter, or in an ad that you think should be disclosed differently, email us: support@evanhfisher.com (or use the Contact page).

We'll review and respond.
